Delivery

Our standard delivery charge for items up to 10kg is £5.95.

We aim to ship your items within 2 working days for Mainland UK.  We will inform you of any delay.

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Island, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Isle of Man may incur delays and additional charges.  We cannot dispatch any orders to these destinations until we have been contacted.

Generally we cannot deliver to international destinations.  However, do email us as it may be possible to accommodate your requests.

We recycle our boxes where possible so please expect repackaged boxes.

All orders will be dispatched to the address provided and signatures may be required on delivery.  Please check items on delivery before signing, especially if the box is damaged.   

If our delivery companies are temporarily unable to deliver due to exceptional conditions that are beyond our control, including extreme weather, accidents or unforeseen circumstances we will not be able to meet any time obligations.

Returns

We hope that you are happy with your purchase.  However, in the event that you would like to return an item please do so within 14 days of your original order.  Items must be undamaged and in their original packaging with the returns slip enclosed. 

We cannot accept returns of earrings, or used, damaged or scratched items.

Please fill in and enclose the returns form and obtain proof of postage.  We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.  On the safe arrival of your return we will process your refund for the original cost of the item less the postage costs.

All products are checked before dispatch.  In the event of products arriving damaged or not as ordered please inform us within 24 hours.  If damaged please photograph the product for insurance purposes.  We cannot replace the item without a photographic reference.  Once the return has been received we will process your refund as soon as possible by the same payment method.  However, returns can take up to 21 days to be processed, especially during busy periods.

All images are copyright of Ball and Chalk and cannot be used for any commercial use without prior permission.  Unauthorised use can and may give rise to a claim for damages, and or be a criminal offence.  All products are described to the best of our knowledge (weight, dimensions and make up).

All products are photographed professionally and colour balanced.  We cannot be responsible for variations in monitors.  

Many of our products are handmade and as such there will be natural variations and imperfections.  Dimensions may also vary, particularly on woven baskets which are all unique.  Please email us with any queries on a particular item.

If the item is not cared for in the way that Ball and Chalk has recommended then we cannot be held responsible.  This is particularly relevant for any bronzed tableware items that should not be put in the dishwasher or microwave (due to their metallic nature), or woven baskets that should not be left for long periods in direct sunlight.
